Its been my honor to serve our community with a deep passion and dedication to our people, our lands, our culture and our future. Aloha! My name is Leif and I am a 3rd generation resident of Hale'iwa. I am actively involved in community organizations and activities. I am a 41 year veteran of the Army National Guard and a retiree of the Waialua Sugar Plantation after 20 years. I am a strong advocate for maintaining agricultural lands and practices. I hope to continue to represent my hometown and serve our community.

I served over 30 years with the Honolulu Police Department. I have lived in Hale’iwa for over 55 years. Graduated Waialua High School. I have served on the Neighborhood Board since 2004.
